Lester Dent is mentioned in a paragraph about the Missouri Writers’ Guild.  The annual spring meeting was held on May 19 in Columbia. Lester Dent was elected first vice-president for the upcoming year.

The Society notes that Mrs. Norma Dent donated the papers of her late husband, Lester Dent, to University of Missouri Western Historical Manuscript Collection.  A reception and open house was held after the presentation in room 25 of the Ellis Library.
