Super Mystery Comics #1, July 1940 contains a story written by Lester Dent. This comic was published by Ace Magazines which coincidentally published the original pulp story from which the comic book story was adapted.

The original pulp story was “The Frozen Phantom” first published in Western Trails v13#4, April 1933.  The comic adaptation was naned “Corporal Flint of the Royal Northwest Mounted Police and the Flame Maiden.”
